Serial number 75M. Great Bakelite knob. The shoe plate is bent a bit in one corner – see pictures.

This vintage circular clutch saw by Shopmate, in its day was a powerful tool for any woodworking project. With a 6 1/4″ blade diameter and corded electric power source, it was easy to handle. The set includes the saw, original metal box, guide, manual and original hang tags. This saw is an ideal choice for those who are looking for a Vintage MCM tool to add to their workshop. The unit does power on but with any electric tool from this era you use at your own risk. I have left this they way I found it sans a quick wipe down. Good clean honest original condition. If I was keeping it I think I would have to polish the aluminum. Lowish serial number? 651. Not sure how many of these were made. Such a beautiful Mid Century art deco design.
