Caster Attach Bolt Set for ShopSmith or Shop Smith Wood Working Machines No Rust Grade 18-8 Stainless Steel Initially many ShopSmith legs were attached with Zinc coated bolts, nuts and star washers. Over the years those fasteners probably have rusted, worked their way loose, fallen off and gotten lost. You may have replaced them with whatever you had around your shop. Nowadays you could have a machine that looks like it is held together poorly. Why not spend a small amount of money and secure your ShopSmith casters properly? Our caster bolt sets are made of stainless steel to eliminate rust. The original slot head bolts look quite dated. Our stainless steel bolt heads are of the Phillips head design which looks more modern. The antique looking original zinc coated square nuts have been replaced by our nylon insert stainless steel hex lock nuts. The original star washers were an attempt to keep the nuts tight. ShopSmith usage generates a lot of vibration and this tends to loosen the nuts. We provide nylon insert stainless steel hex lock nuts to keep the fasteners held together. Buy a set now and bring the looks of your ShopSmith machine into the 21st century. Some people feel that washers are not needed with lock nuts. However, we at Righty Tighty like and use them with all nuts. That is why we have included washers for each nut and bolt pair. All pieces of our caster attachment bolt set are made of grade 18-8 stainless steel and will stay bright for years. Here is what is included in the set: 1.) Eight truss head style stainless steel bolts 2.) Eight stainless steel washers 3.) Eight nylon insert stainless steel hex lock nuts One payment of $14.00 buys 8 bolts, 8 nuts and 8 washers … USPS First Class shipping with Tracking is $3.96 TOTAL or 1, 2, 3 or more packs. (No matter how many packs you buy, the shipping charge remains at $3.96)
