Router Base for Makita Compact Routers 4"x5"x5/16" Clear Acrylic....A must have! I am a Cabinet Maker by trade and woodworker by passion. I use trim routers everyday, purchased 2 Makita Cordless routers and instantly knew the stock router base was worthless. So, I made my own. My router base is far more stable, safer, durable, and easier to use. There made out of 4"x5"x5/16" clear acrylic, which is much larger and thicker than the stock one. This base is also much harder to break or chip. This router base is 4" x 5" x 5/16" thick. The bit opening is 1 3/8". Your stock screws will work. All edges have been eased and polished as to not damage your work. Please feel free to ask questions. These are made by my hands in Maryland, USA.
