New features and improvements include a powerful, high-efficiency brushless motor that offers 25 percent more power, 50 percent greater runtime, and a 10 percent longer life of the tool when compared to a brushed motor. It also features a new intelligent design interface with a digital keypad that allows you to quickly change torque settings (1 to 9) and adjust work mode between drilling and driving. This new version is also lighter and offers 442 inch-pounds of torque compared to the original version with 256 inch-pounds of torque. The variable speed trigger offers complete control and easy starting, and the two-speed gearbox allows for more advanced drilling and driving applications like driving longer lag bolts and drilling wider holes. The slim, ergonomic design with GripZone micro-texture allows for optimum comfort and reduced user fatigue. The new version features the same 1/4-inch dual rotating chuck that made the SwitchDriver one of the most innovative and useful WORX® tools of all time.
